Clamping device

To mount a pulley on a shaft you can use different techniques. One of these techniques is a clamping device. On this page you will find both cylindrical clamping devices and conical clamping devices.

The name says it all: the clamping device is tensioned between the shaft and the sprocket. It provides a backlash-free connection and a high concentricity accuracy. The advantage of a clamping device is that it is easy to (dis)assemble. In addition, you cannot make any axial alignment errors when fastening.
