PU conveyor belts

Polyurethane (PU) conveyor belts have a higher resistance to wear, abrasion, damage, oils and greases than other types of plastic conveyor belts. Polyurethane belts are therefore very suitable for the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry. Due to the composition of the PU, no harmful toxins or chemicals can be released from the conveyor belts.

NK Technics has standard 1 and 2 layer PU conveyor belts in stock that we can make endless for you or with a mechanical fastner so that you can make the belt endless on location. All these belts can also be provided with sidewalls, guides, cams and/or perforations. The placing of sidewalls and flights is done by means of a High Frequency (HF) press so that there is no excess material on the tyre and the tyres have clean welding edges. NK technics can also coat the PU conveyor belts with a coating material of your wish. 

All of the PU types have the following conformities:

• EU/EC Suitable for the transport of unpacked Food in compliance with food safety regulation (EU) 10/2011 and regulation(EC) 1935/2004
• FDA 21CFR Suitable for the transport of unpacked Food in compliance with FDA regulation 21CFR
• Halal  Certificated Halal product under supervision of International Halal Integrity Alliance (partner of ICCI)
