The BRECOprotect® product line offers timing belts with steel drawstrings that are completely enclosed in polyurethane to protect them against corrosion. The choice of material for BRECOprotect® timing belts is in accordance with FDA regulations and the blue colour fully meets the requirements of today's food processing industry.

The polyurethane that is used complies with the following requirements;

• FDA Code of Federal Regulations, Sec. 177.1680.
• Verordening (EG) nr. 1935/2004 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 27 oktober 2004 inzake materialen en voorwerpen bestemd om met levensmiddelen in contact te komen.
• Verordening (EU) nr. 10/2011 van de Commissie van 14 januari 2011 betreffende materialen en voorwerpen van kunststof, bestemd om met levensmiddelen in contact te komen.
• Richtlijn 90/128/EEG & 96/11/CE inzake materialen en voorwerpen van kunststof, bestemd om met levensmiddelen in aanraking te komen.

De BRECOprotect-tandriemen zijn verkrijgbaar in open lengtes en eindloos gelaste versies.
