An endless T10 PU timing belt is often called a welded or endless with a splice timing belt. The thermoplastic PU material of which PU timing belts are manufactured can be welded with heat (split timing belt) to create an endless belt.

The thermoplastic PU material of which PU timing belts are produced can be welded with heat to create an endless belt. After a finger joint has been punched into the T10 PU timing belt a finger joint form 80 mm up to 120 mm long, depending on the tooth profile, the endless welded timing belt can reach a tensile strength of 60% of a PU timing belt without a weld.
